If you’ve ever wished your inspection PDFs matched the rest of your shop’s professional branding, this update is for you.

You can now fully customize the appearance of your vehicle inspection reports. Control your logo, colors, fonts, and disclaimers, and see the changes reflected instantly in every inspection preview, PDF, and printout.

🛠️ How to Customize Your Template

We made the customization process completely visual. From any inspection preview, simply tap the new Settings button in the top toolbar to open the Inspection Template Settings.

Here is what you can adjust:

🖼️ Logo & Branding: Show or hide your shop logo, and dial in the exact size using a slider (50px to 350px). You can also control the font size of your company name, from subtle to bold.
🎨 Custom Colors: Pick custom colors for three key areas: the banner background, section headers/borders, and checklist headers. Just tap the color picker to find the exact shade that fits your brand.
🔤 Text & Typography: Choose from eight professional font families (including Arial, Georgia, Verdana, and Tahoma). Set your preferred text size and pick a text color that is easy for your customers to read.
📝 Custom Disclaimer: Add a specific disclaimer that appears at the bottom of every inspection, or leave it blank to automatically use the default one from your shop profile.

Live Previews & Easy Resets

The best part? You don’t have to guess what your changes will look like. A live preview shows you exactly how the final document will appear as you drag sliders and pick colors.

When you are happy with the design, hit Save. Your choices are stored and applied automatically to every inspection going forward. And if you ever want to start fresh, a Reset to Defaults button brings everything back to the original ARI template in one click.
