The “Perfect Booking Page” Checklist
A pretty page gets visits, but a perfect page gets keys in hands. Use this checklist to make sure your new ARI booking page is a conversion machine.
1. The “First 3 Seconds” Audit
- [ ] High-Resolution Logo: Does your logo look crisp or pixelated? A blurry logo signals a “blurry” business. Upload a PNG or JPG at least 500px wide.
- [ ] Star Power: Do you have at least 3–5 reviews? If the “Star Chip” isn’t showing, send your last 10 happy customers a quick review link. Social proof is the #1 reason people click “Book.”
- [ ] The “Open Now” Test: Check your page right now. Does the badge accurately reflect whether you’re open? If you’re closed for lunch, make sure that’s in your ARI settings so the AI doesn’t promise a 12 PM slot.
2. The AI “Ari” Training
- [ ] Service Clarity: Are your services named like a textbook or a human?
- Bad: “Standard Internal Combustion Lubrication Service”
- Good: “Synthetic Oil Change & Filter”
- [ ] Price Transparency: Do you have “Starting at” prices listed? AI converts better when it can give a ballpark figure. If a customer asks, “How much?” and Ari says, “I don’t know,” you might lose the lead.
- [ ] Multi-Lingual Check: If you serve a Spanish or Arabic-speaking community, ensure your custom service descriptions are clear. Ari will handle the rest.
3. Friction Reduction (The “Less is More” Rule)
- [ ] Minimal Required Fields: Do you really need their VIN, license plate, and home address just to book a tire rotation?
- Goal: Only require Name, Phone, and Vehicle Make/Model. Collect the rest when they drop off the keys.
- [ ] Lead Time Buffers: Ensure your “Minimum Notice” is set. If you need 2 hours’ head start before a car shows up, make sure ARI knows so you don’t get “surprise” arrivals.
4. The Mobile Stress Test
- [ ] Thumb-Friendly: Open your booking link on your own phone. Can you tap the “Call Now” button easily with one hand?
- [ ] Directions Check: Tap your address on the booking page. Does it open correctly in Google Maps? (If your address is tucked away in an industrial park, add a small “Note” in your shop description like: “Behind the big blue warehouse.”)
5. Closing the Loop
- [ ] Automated Reminders: Is your ARI set to send a text confirmation 24 hours before the appointment?
- Why: A booked appointment is worthless if it’s a “No-Show.” Let the software do the nagging for you.
- [ ] Financing Mention: If you use Wisetack, make sure it’s enabled. Seeing “Monthly payments available” on the booking page makes a $1,200 brake job feel like a $100 fix.
The 5-Minute Win: > Go to your ARI (Auto Repair Software) settings right now and disable one “Required Field” that you don’t actually need for a booking. Watch your completion rate go up this week.
